Just uploaded my second deviation - it's just a picture I took awhile back in the forest near where I lived. I took it on a pleasantly rainy winter day while I was out on a walk with my mom. At least, I'm pretty sure it was winter. It's a picture of a cluster of small white mushrooms, each cap being no bigger than my pinky fingernail. I remember it being a really hared shot to get because I had to climb up a small muddy alcove that had eroded under a tree. The shot, I feel, was worth the effort. I hope you enjoy! There are a few more where it came from - I just have to find them again.

I am proud to announce that I have submitted my first deviation! I know that to most that statement means practically nothing but for someone like me, an appreciator of art but not particularly a producer of art, this is a huge accomplishment. Usually my "art" comes out as words - my "doodles" are what most people call freewriting. Thus, I take great pride in any kind of picture I manage to create. Now, though, I find myself wanting to do more art of the same style as "My Song" but I have no idea what kind of shape to start with. I've also thought about doing a version of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" since that's one of my favorite famous paint
